About This Tour
There is no better way to explore Far North Queensland!
Escape the heat and join us on a guided tour of Lake Tinaroo located on the spectacular Atherton Tablelands. The unique experience that we offer allows you to operate a Jetski by yourself or choose to be a passenger instead. We guarantee an amazing day filled with so much fun. Many chances to have a swim in the beautiful fresh water damn. On this tour we show you the old town, the damn wall as well as most of the tablelands farming industry all from the water. The total time allocated for this tour is about 5 hours. 2 hours being out on the water operating jet skis. The other 3 hours includes travel from Cairns, morning tea and lunch.
Whats included
Pick up from Cairns
8:30 am
On booking you will put in your location for pick up. On the day one of our local guides will pick you up in Nav North's tour bus and begin the tour from there. All passengers will be returned to there pick location at the end of the tour.
Stop 1: Lakeshore Avocado Farm & Packshed
10:00 am
From Cairns we will make our way up to the beautiful Atherton Tabelands where QLD's largest farms are located. From the minute we start our journey you will slowly see the environment around you transform from city to rolling hilled country side.

Our first stop is at the Lakeshore avocado farm at Lake Tinaroo. We will drive through the paddocks and guide you through how the farm operates.
We put you in the shoes of a farmer, spotting fruit on the trees and watching machinery operate.

From the farm we then drive to the packshed where all these avocadoes get packed into boxes using high tech machinery to wash the fruit and sought them depending on quality. This is where the fruit get shipped from into the supermarkets where you buy them.
